- i got a new tattoo yesterday and he is gorgeous. his name is baku and he is gonna help me get rid of my bad dreams. and he is japanese, not fucking hindu. beautiful, beautifully done - thank you adam! it's weird though, and i might sound a bit wacky here - but i have never gotten a tattoo of an actual type of deity before. The stories I have heard were that you should put a picture of him up or a statue of him out to eat your nightmares. BUT you are supposed to put them away periodically because he can become greedy and eat ALL your dreams if he likes you. I was a bit wary of this, but figured I have enough bad dreams to keep him satisfied. but is IS strange, and it does feel very different. my other tattoos might have their meaning (or their immature lack there of...) but what is different about this one is that it is NOT personally related to me. he is his own entity just residing on my arm. he is like a little friend, independant of me - gobbling up my nightmares. like some invocation of the spirit type shit. it is a very strange feeling. we'll see what happens...
- my room is disgustingly messy. and my house has become infested with baby earwigs.
- school seems more and more pointless the closer i get to finishing. i don't think spite was a good enough reason to go to college. i wouldn't mind if i LEARNED something, but everything that I have learned that wasn't useless, I have had to learn on my own. I can only remember a handful of information that I learned in school - most useless. In 4th grade I learned the names of the clouds. In 6th, I learned the names and duties of greek gods. also in 6th, we had to read "a day no pigs would die" a book that involved piggie rape - and burned a vivid image in my mind. in 7th i learned to smoke weed (i don't know if that counts) in 9th i learned proportions in math. in 10th i learned how to paint correctly and screen print. in 11th i memorized most of the periodic table of elements. in 12th i took government class and learned that most people are shitheads. and finally, in college i learned about the high renaissance and 16th century flemish painting, and very minimal videography techniques. this has not been worth
14-15 years of my time.
- i am moving to haiti
